Winners of Creative Challenge with Cerelac announced
On April 21st, the final proposals of this year's Creative Challenge were presented to the final client, Cerelac.
The 10 multidisciplinary teams presented their proposals developed in just four days, to a jury composed by Sara Cardoso, Brand Manager of CERELAC, Nuno Abreu, Marketing Manager of Nestlé Infant Nutrition & Dairy, Carlos Rosa, Director of IADE and Rodrigo Ramirez, Scientific Coordinator of the Design Area of IADE.
This year the challenge was to develop a proposal for a new image for the packaging of the "Portuguese's favourite porridge", the iconic Portuguese brand Cerelac, and the respective communication plan.
The challenge took place between 17 and 21 April and the teams were guided by a mentor, in an immersive week organized by Fábrica - IADE to respond to the briefing launched.
The results stood out for their quality and, as a result, in addition to the winning proposal from Group 1, Group 3 was also awarded an honourable mention.
Group 1 was composed by Cheila Adriana Ricardo Durão (Design), Mariana Tavares Vassalo de Matos Lima (Design), Sara Andreia das Neves Agostinho (Design), Mafalda Pereira Teixeira e Garcia Mendes (Marketing and Advertising) and Margarida Andrade Isidoro Antunes Graça (Marketing and Advertising).
Group 3 was composed by the students Maria Inês Parcelas Loureiro (MD&P), Inês de Almeida Silva (Design), Iris Sousa Pacheco (Design), Margarida Gouveia Marçal de Jesus (Marketing and Advertising) and Sofia Serras Celorico da Silva Fialho (Marketing and Advertising).
Produced in the Nestlé factory in Avanca, CERELAC has accompanied generations for 87 years and currently reaches more than 80 countries.
Every year, an edition of the IADE Creative Challenge is launched, that is, a unique collaboration project between students and Portuguese companies/brands, involving the areas of Design, Marketing, Photography, Technologies and Communication.
