IADE Students create uniforms for MultiÓpticas/Grandvision
The students of the Master in Branding and Fashion Design were challenged by MultiÓpticas/Grandvision to create the new uniform image for the 600+ employees.
The challenge took place during the 2nd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, in the Parallel Manufacturing line of action, and was accompanied by the teachers of the respective master's degree, with the guidance of its coordinator, Prof. Octávio Alcântara.
From all the proposals presented, to a jury composed by representatives of MultiÓpticas/Grandvision and IADE, were selected two finalists, that passed to the prototyping and test phase by the respective collaborators:
- Proposal by student Margarida Silva
- Proposal by the team composed by the students Inês Cotrim and Vasco Sobreiro
On April 20th it was announced the winning proposal from the duo Inês Cotrim and Vasco Sobreiro. Besides seeing their proposal come to life and become MultiÓpticas' new uniform image, the students received a monetary prize.
The student Margarida Silva, who came in 2nd place, received a trip to Italy where she will get to know Grandvision's head office.
