IADE promotes Photography Exhibition with works by finalists in the Photography and Visual Culture degree program
From October 23 to November 20 at A Homem Mau.
IADE - Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication of the European University is inaugurating the X'24 exhibition project on October 23rd, at the A Homem Mau Gallery, which brings together works by 27 final-year students from the Photography and Visual Culture degree program.
Selected from among the students who completed their academic course in the 2023-2024 academic year, 27 authors explore the possibilities of creation based on the photographic device, including photographs, photography books and moving image projects.
The work on display confirms and affirms the creative capacity of the authors, based on experimentation, an approach to new languages and influences, revealing processes of growth and maturation, growth and affirmation, which cannot fail to be highlighted and welcomed in these finalists and young authors, in which the gallery presentation is established as a special moment of prominence, confirming the ability to explore discourse and authorial creativity.
As a result of the different approaches, there is a back and forth, between distancing and inviting closeness, an extroverted intimacy which is an exercise in dual metaphorical creation. That said, the exhibition is based on diversified proposals in an approach to individual creative processes, discourses and visual languages that impact on seeing and feeling.
