Tech4Good at IADE to promote technology and innovation
The competition runs from April 5 to 7 in three categories: games, applications and services.
IADE - European University's Faculty of Design, Technology and Communication will be hosting Tech4Good, a competition that aims to promote technology and innovation as tools for social good. The tech jam will take place on April 5, 6 and 7 and participants will have the opportunity to compete in one of three challenge categories: games, applications and services.
The challenges will be proposed by a non-profit organization, which will be revealed closer to the date. Participants have 48 hours to find a solution to a real problem, the theme of which will always be linked to a theme proposed later.
The event is free to enter, but places are limited to 100 for the time being, providing an opportunity for students, professionals and technology and innovation enthusiasts to get together and develop their technical and creative skills.
As this is a social event, there are no monetary prizes, but there are participation certificates and symbolic prizes. In addition, there is always the possibility that the organization will want to continue developing the proposed project with the students.
The challenge begins after the opening session (at 7pm on April 5) and runs until 5pm on April 7, followed by the closing session and prize-giving.
