IADE celebra aniversário premiando alunos, Alumni e parceiros
English version below No passado dia 21 de março, celebrou-se o Dia do IADE, onde se comemora mais um ano de vida desta icónica instituição. As comemorações contaram com os discursos da reitora da Universidade Europeia, do diretor do IADE, o lançamento de um novo desafio, a entrega de Prémios Carreira e Mérito e do Prémio IADE Parceiro atribuído à Bordallo Pinheiro (Grupo Visabeira).

O evento contou com a presença de alunos, professores e convidados que fizeram questão de comemorar este dia. Neste dia foram lançados o Desafio Criativo IADE 2022, em parceria com a Vista Alegre, e a Alumni Week, onde durante a semana de 21 a 25 de março, no lugar dos professores estarão Alumni na sala de aula com os estudantes.
No seu discurso emotivo, o Professor Doutor Carlos Rosa, diretor do IADE, destacou o trabalho que tem sido desenvolvido: “O IADE, escola líder panorama do ensino das indústrias criativas em Portugal, ao longo da sua história teve a destreza de se adaptar e de se reinventar. Nascida em plena ditadura, esta escola é a escola que se transformou no espaço de cultura e reflexão intelectual e artística da época. Era o espaço livre, cercado pelo regime.”.
“Nos últimos 4 anos, criámos uma Fábrica! Solidificámos uma Unidcom. Reforçámos Desenvolvimento de Jogos e Engenharia. Crescemos em Comunicação, em Interação e nas áreas da Animação e da Multimédia. Fortalecemos o nosso doutoramento em design e criámos outro, o segundo no IADE que é também o primeiro Doutoramento em videojogos da Península Ibérica. Mais uma vez fomos pioneiros e logo numa área científica tão jovem na nossa casa”, afirmou Carlos Rosa.
A cerimónia ficou ainda marcada pela entrega do Prémio IADE Parceiro à Bordallo Pinheiro (Grupo Visabeira) e dos Prémios IADE Carreira 2020 e 2021 a Rui Serpa, o primeiro Country Director da Coca-Cola European Partners em Portugal, e à fotógrafa Rosa Reis, respetivamente.
Também alunos foram distinguidos com os prémios de mérito aos Melhores Estudantes nos diferentes graus. No grau de Doutoramento, o aluno Davide António Gambera, com o doutoramento em Gestão do Design. No grau de Mestrado, a aluna Matilde Custódio Raposo, com o mestrado em Gestão do Design. E no grau de licenciatura, a aluna Beatriz Gomes Artilheiro, na licenciatura de Design Global.
A cerimónia terminou com a atuação da TAI – Tuna Académica do IADE. Toda a sessão foi transmitida em direto na página de Instagram da Fábrica.

Last March 21, IADE Day was celebrated, where another year of life of this iconic institution is commemorated. The celebrations included speeches by the Rector of the Universidade Europeia, the Director of IADE, the launching of a new challenge, the delivery of Career and Merit Awards and the IADE Partner Award attributed to Bordallo Pinheiro (Visabeira Group).
The event was attended by students, teachers and guests who made a point of celebrating this day. On this day were launched the IADE Creative Challenge 2022, in partnership with Vista Alegre, and the Alumni Week, where during the week of March 21-25, in place of teachers will be Alumni in the classroom with students.
In his emotional speech, Professor Carlos Rosa, director of IADE, highlighted the work that has been developed: "IADE, leading school in the teaching of creative industries in Portugal, throughout its history had the ability to adapt and reinvent itself. Born in the middle of the dictatorship, this school is the school that became the space for culture and intellectual and artistic reflection of the time. It was the free space, surrounded by the regime".
"In the last four years, we have created a Factory! We have solidified a Unidcom. We have strengthened Games Development and Engineering. We have grown in Communication, in Interaction and in the areas of Animation and Multimedia. We strengthened our PhD in Design and created another one, the second in IADE, which is also the first PhD in videogames in the Iberian Peninsula. Once again we were pioneers and in such a young scientific area in our house", affirmed Carlos Rosa.
The ceremony was also marked by the delivery of the IADE Partner Award to Bordallo Pinheiro (Visabeira Group) and the IADE Career 2020 and 2021 Awards to Rui Serpa, the first Country Director of Coca-Cola European Partners in Portugal, and to the photographer Rosa Reis, respectively.
Also students were distinguished with the merit awards to the Best Students in the different degrees. In the Doctorate degree, the student Davide António Gambera, with a PhD in Design Management. In the Master's degree, the student Matilde Custódio Raposo, with a Master's degree in Design Management. And in the degree level, the student Beatriz Gomes Artilheiro, in the Global Design degree.
The ceremony ended with a performance by TAI - Tuna Académica do IADE. The entire session was broadcast live on Fábrica's Instagram page.
